Coupon Organization - Personal Stash

You should have separate files for your personal coupons and the coupons you trade.  Setting up similar formats will make your life easier.  But these should always remain separate.  A well-organized shopper saves more, even on last minute purchases!  I purchased this box on eBay, but I customized it with special tabbed inserts and a category list I designed for MY needs.

E-mail Organization

If you use Microsoft Outlook, this will definitely make your like easier!  Not only is mail easier to read, but the tools within Outlook will help you to keep on top of your email, much of it can be automated for your convenience!

Wish Lists

A wish list is a general list of products you buy regularly and are always looking for coupons for.  I would suggest typing it in Microsoft Word.  This will allow you to format it so it is easy to read.  Most coupons groups have a place on the site that you can add your wish list as a file upload.  Be sure to keep it updated.

ISO Lists

An ISO List (In search of list) is a "coupon specific" list.  This list will contain the UPC code, the specific item, coupon value, and expiration date.  And to get better results, also include the date and which insert this coupon came from.

Price Book

Keeping record of which stores in your neighborhood have the best prices on EACH of the specific items you purchase is called a Price Book.  There are quite a few options available as to how you can keep a price book.  It can be a notebook, or a computer file in Microsoft Word or excel.  Whatever format fits your needs.  Your price book is only a value if it is updated and used.

Sample Size Price & Location List

I have created a listing of the available sample/trial sizes and their prices at each of the various local stores in my area.  This is a new project, so it is not yet completed.  But creating this list allows me to know which stores have the sample sizes so I can use my coupons for free products.
